TCX RO4D AIR are highly breathable motorcycle shoes that guarantee certified protection and versatility in all situations, from urban transfers to short trips out of town. The mesh fabric upper with hot melt coating combines maximum safety with flawless breathability and ventilation, to keep the foot dry and comfortable in hotter climates. R04D AIR incorporates protective D3O® inserts on the ankle and reinforcements on the toe, heel and gear area. The long-lasting, breathable OrthoLite® insole contributes to perfect thermoregulation for the foot. The Groundtrax® sole, made of wear-resistant rubber, ensures maximum grip on all surfaces, optimal sensitivity and comfort suited to an all-day motorcycle shoe. R04D AIR features laces complete with gaiter and Velcro to adjust the collar area, a Bycast leather lever guard and a reflective element on the back.

OrthoLite® Footbed

OrthoLite® insoles were developed to ensure optimal comfort and maximum support for the sole of the foot, combined with maximum breathability in all conditions. OrthoLite® insoles offer: - Long-lasting cushioning, due to OrthoLite® polyurethane foam designed to provide consistent cushioning, fit and long-lasting comfort. Less than 5% of its thickness is compressed over the lifecycle of the insole, so its properties never change. - High breathability for perfect thermal comfort thanks to the OrthoLite® open-cell foam that allows air to circulate in and around the insole, driving moisture away and keeping the foot cool and dry.

D3O®

Protective D3O® inserts, which feature in the construction of TCX's urban motorcycle shoes, offer an ideal balance of safety, comfort and ergonomics. D3O® is a patented soft and flexible material designed to stiffen on impact. In its raw form, D3O® molecules flow freely, due to their non-Newtonian nature, which allows the material to be soft and flexible. Upon impact, D3O® molecules merge together and absorb and dissipate the energy from the impact, significantly reducing the force transmitted to the body compared to standard materials. The protection it offers is, therefore, both optimal and imperceptible and is combined with maximum comfort and freedom when walking.

ZPLATE

ZPLATE®, an exclusive TCX design, is a special insert applied to the midsole of motorcycle footwear, perfectly combining safety and freedom of movement. TCX footwear with ZPLATE® in the midsole guarantees impact protection due to its transverse rigidity which provides maximum safety in the event of crushing and longitudinal flexibility to follow all the foot’s natural movements – even when walking.

HOW TO MEASURE

FOOT LENGTH

The length of the foot is obtained by measuring from the end of the heel to the toe. Lay the meter on the ground starting from a wall, rest your heel on the wall and lay your foot above the meter.

DOES ALL TCX FOOTWEAR OFFER THE SAME FIT?

Generally, yes, even though the conversion of sizes is indicative, since every TCX model is developed according to specific parameters and usage requirements, using fitting lasts and materials designed specifically to provide outstanding comfort. There could however be some differences in fit between two different models of the same size.

I USUALLY WEAR SHOES WITH A US OR UK SIZE, HOW SHOULD I CHOOSE THE SIZE OF A TCX PRODUCT?

The size conversion among the various EU, US and UK size charts may in some cases involve differences of a few mm, meaning a single EU size could correspond to several UK or US sizes. Please refer to our size conversion chart to identify the match. In any case, we recommend you always measure your feet.
